ITV Studios Norway appoints long-time Nordisk Film TV exec as MD

ITV Studios has appointed Lars Finnland as MD of its Nordic label, ITV Studios Norway.

Finnland, who joins from events company 6.Sans Event where he served as CEO, previous managed Nordisk Film TV, where he also served as chief of entertainment across 16 years with the business.

At Nordisk Film TV, Finnland ran a department responsible for 150 shows, including Vil du bli millionær, the local version of quiz show format Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?, as well as Jakten på kjærligheten, 71 grader nord, The Voice, Da damene dro, Heia Tufte and Åndenes makt. 

Before that, he produced more than 200 shows during a five-year period for TV2, TV Norge, NRK and TV3.

ITV Studios Norway has produced and co-produced more than 40 TV series, including Aber Bergen, Love Island, Ice Road Rescue and Nattpatruljen.
