Argonon Group appoints Pact exec to head legal

Argonon Group has appointed former Pact exec Amanda Goddard as group director of legal and business affairs.

The newly created role has a remit of developing and leading corporate legal strategy across the business – whose portfolio includes Leopard USA, Remedy Productions, Windfall Films, BriteSpark Films and Bandicoot – as well as oversight and support to individual prodcos.

Prior to Pact, where she served as head of legal and business affairs for more than 10 years, Goddard’s roles ranged from international counsel for United International Pictures to in-house solicitor for producer-broadcaster STV in Scotland, as well as their London-based company Ginger Productions.

She has more than 15 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the UK production sector, having advised across media groups, broadcasters, producers, governing boards and public authorities.

Goddard begins the role on 12 August.
