History boards Air Force One doc exploring 9/11
US cablenet History is preparing to air a new two-hour documentary that takes viewers aboard Air Force One during the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001.
9/11: Inside Air Force One features interviews with then president George W. Bush, vice president Dick Cheney, chief of staff Andy Card and the pilot of Air Force One as well as secret service agents as the events unfold.
It will feature footage captured aboard Air Force One and use details from the recently declassified transcript from the Air Threat Conference Call, which documents the real-time struggle to make sense of the scale of the attack and how the country formulates a response.
Red Arrow Studios-owned Left/Right is producing, with Ken Druckerman, Banks Tarver, and Jeff Cooperman executive producers. Executive producer for History is Zachary Behr.
