CBS Entertainment rejigs daytime with Angelica McDaniel exit
CBS Entertainment’s EVP of daytime Angelica McDaniel has stepped down from the role as part of a rejig of the company’s current programming team.
McDaniel had been with CBS for almost a decade but is leaving as part of plans by CBS Entertainment, headed up by president Kelly Kahl, to move its daytime team into the current programming division led by Amy Resisemnbach.
The move, first reported by US trade Deadline, reflects similar exec structures at rival networks.
Kahl will take on the remit of McDaniel, who had previously held roles including SVP of daytime for the broadcaster’s entertainment division.
