Bill Nighy boards Channel 5’s ‘World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys’

The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys

Channel 5 in the UK has ordered a trio of shows from Argonon Group’s BriteSpark Films, including a series about train journeys that has actor Bill Nighy onboard.

The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys will explore trips across Canada, Europe and New Zealand through the characters who travel, work and live near them, with Nighy narrating.

The UK broadcaster has also greenlit How to Stop Your Nuisance Calls and handed out a sixth season order for Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords, which explores the UK’s Britain’s rental market. All three titles will be distributed by Kew Media-backed TCB Media.

The shows have been ordered by Channel 5’s factual commissioning editor, Daniel Pearl, who described The World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys as “a beautiful and indulgent treat, taking our viewers to places of truly outstanding natural beauty.”
