Fulwell73 hires The Mill’s Johnny Moore as COO & CFO
The Late Late Show and Carpool Karaoke prodco Fulwell73 has hired The Mill’s Johnny Moore as its COO and CFO.
Moore will be based in London and reports to Leo Pearlman, Fulwell73’s managing partner, with a remit for driving the company’s financial and operational performance and ongoing growth globally.
He joins from VFX and creative content studios The Mill, where he was responsible for operational performance, technology, operations and commercial teams across the business.
Before that, he spent over 20 years at Sky where he was director of operations, working on streamer NOW TV, the pay TV operator’s investment in original content, and its partnership with HBO.
Pearlman described Moore as “the right cultural and business fit” for the company and said his “business, financial and operational acumen will help us drive Fulwell forward, to continue our development, without losing any of our entrepreneurial spirit and drive.”
Moore added: “Fulwell’s entrepreneurial spirit, creative mindset and hugely talented team drew me to this role.
“My experience of scaling organisations in high-growth environments, combined with my passion for creative businesses, makes Fulwell the ideal fit for me. I cannot wait to get stuck in and help them build on their already enviable reputation.”
Fulwell’s TV slate includes The Late Late Show With James Corden, whose host is a co-founder in the prodco. It has also been behind BBC documentary Bros: After The Screaming Stops, Drop The Mic for TBS, Carpool Karaoke: The Series for Apple, Sunderland ‘Til I Die for Netflix, and the hit Gavin & Stacey Christmas Special for BBC One.
Feature output includes The Class of 92, One Direction 3D: This Is Us and I Am Bolt.
