All3’s Objective Fiction launches drama label with ‘Guilt’ scribe Neil Forsyth

Guilt writer Neil Forsyth has launched a new production label with All3Media-backed Objective Fiction.

Forsyth, who has also been behind fellow BBC drama Eric, Ernie & Me, will head up Tannadice Pictures and focus on exclusively developing content for Objective Fiction, part of parent prodco Objective Media.

The agreement also sees Forsyth developing projects with new writers via Tannadice, while his involvement on existing shows is not affected.

Dark comedy-drama Guilt was produced for BBC Scotland and later aired on BBC Two while TV movie Eric, Ernie & Me debuted on BBC Four in the UK.

Forsyth said: “I’ve always enjoyed working with Objective, who have been a supportive creative partner for many years. This is a really exciting opportunity and I can’t wait to get going.”

Ben Farrell, Objective Fiction’s chief creative officer, described Forsyth as “a creative force and a superb writer who absolutely understands the way the TV industry operates, both nationally and internationally. I’m excited to be partnering up with him and Tannadice Pictures in this new venture.”

Objective Fiction’s slate includes Feel Good, which was produced for Netflix and Channel 4. The UK broadcaster also commissioned Year Of The Rabbit and GameFace from the All3 firm, while Witless was produced for the BBC.
