We have two internationally renowned execs onboard for our next TBI Talks, which will explore the UK’s content industry and its place on the global landscape. We will discuss how those behind some of the country’s best scripted and unscripted programming have adapted, explore how the market is changing and find out where the opportunities are emerging both domestically and on the world stage.
TBI Talks is a lively, engaging and informative series of monthly online discussions with some of the biggest players from across the content business, who cut to the heart of the challenges facing the industry and provide deep insights into new growth areas.

The fantastic line-up for our next session includes:
Kate Phillips is Controller of Entertainment at the BBC, with responsibility for the UK public broadcaster’s entertainment strategy & output, and commissioning more than 500 hours of original programmes a year. She was previously creative director of formats for BBC Studios (fka BBC Worldwide), overseeing more than 200 scripted and non-scripted formats.
James Burstall is Founder & CEO at Argonon, overseeing production companies in the UK and the US including the Masked Singer’s UK producers Bandicoot, Barefaced TV, Windfall Films, Like A Shot, BriteSpark Films and Leopard Pictures. He is also CEO at Leopard USA, and he has had credits on shows ranging from Mormon Love on Facebook to hit franchise House Hunters International.
Aled Evans is a Senior Research Analyst at Omdia, who specialises in advertising, content production and channels & programming across international markets. He worked previously in UK broadcast media production as a senior producer with roles across leading TV broadcasters and content production groups.
