Nickelodeon adds ABC Studios alum Zack Olin to oversee live action
ViacomCBS-owned kids channel Nickelodeon has appointed former ABC Studios exec Zack Olin to oversee its live action offer.
Olin takes the newly created role of SVP of live action at Nick, with a remit to work across scripted, movies and specials for the children’s operator.
He will be based out of LA and will work alongside fellow SVP of live action Shauna Phelan, reporting into ViacomCBS kids & family president Brian Robbins.
Olin was previously a consultant for Nick and prior to that had been VP of creative development at ABC Studios, which he joined in 2011. He worked on shows including Grown-ish and The Real O’Neals.
He was also exec director of current programming ABC Entertainment, where his output included Cougar Town and Body Of Proof, and before that he worked on shows such as American Dad at Fox.
