CJ ENM inks first-look deal with Warner Horizon Unscripted TV
South Korean entertainment company CJ ENM has signed a first-look TV deal with Warner Horizon Unscripted Television for non-scripted TV formats.
CJ ENM is behind hit IP such as I Can See Your Voice and Grandpas Over Flowers; with this new agreement allowing its Warner Bros-owned partners to expand its content in the North American market.
Founded in 2006, Warner Horizon Unscripted Television boasts an unscripted slate including top-performing formats including The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bachelor In Paradise, Ellen’s Game Of Games and Mental Samurai.
“The US market is a very important and symbolic market for us,” said Diane Min, head of format sales at CJ ENM. “We are more than delighted to partner with Warner Horizon Unscripted, which is one of the most successful studios in the US.
“The US version of I Can See Your Voice recently launched on FOX and has been well-received by the American audience.
“We believe that this partnership with Warner Horizon Unscripted will bring us great opportunities to introduce our other numerous creative shows to American audiences through Warner’s excellent expertise and experiences in TV production.”
