Portugal’s TVI gets ‘All Together Now’ with local version of singing format
Portuguese broadcaster TVI has commissioned Banijay-owned Shine Iberia Portugal to produce a local version of entertainment format All Together Now.
The singing show sees talented solo and group singers perform in front of ‘The 100’ who are described as “an audience of great singers with big voices and even bigger opinions” in the hope of winning a cash prize at the end of the series.
If any of The 100 likes what they hear, they can join in with the singing and the greater number that do, the more points scored by the act.
Cristina Ferreira is to present the Portuguese edition, which is currently in production and will debut in a prime-time slot in early 2021.
This latest sale marks the 15th for the All Together Now format, with eight productions broadcasting this year. The format is currently airing a third run in Italy and is also on in Finland, where the debut series launched last month.
“This format delivers unforgettable performances, emotional reactions and loads of humour to bring the entire family together,” said Lucas Green, global gead of content operations, creative networks at Banijay.
“The fun party atmosphere is just what viewers need right now and we are proud to produce the show using our tried and tested Covid-19 protocols.”
