Cineflix Rights brings Yoav Gross’ Israeli crime thriller ‘Manayek’ to global market

UK-based Cineflix Rights has acquired global distribution rights to Yoav Gross Productions’ Israeli crime thriller Manayek.

The 10 x 45-minute series was originally produced for Kan 11 Network and tells the story of a veteran internal affairs investigator who is nearing retirement when he is sent to interview a young police officer who has murdered a key state witness.

The investigator soon uncovers a vast criminal conspiracy within the police force involving his best friend and former partner, sparking off a ruthless game of cat and mouse.

Manayek was created and written by Roy Iddan (Kfula) and directed by Alon Zingman (Shtisel), with Shalom Assayag in the lead role, alongside Amoz Tamam and Liraz Chamani.

This is the second Israeli drama that Cineflix Rights has added to its catalogue, alongside the acclaimed Tehran, which also originally aired on Kan 11.
