HGTV orders Pamela Anderson-led home renovation series
HGTV Canada has commissioned a new docuseries following actor Pamela Anderson as she renovates her late grandmother’s home.
Produced and distributed globally by Toronto-based Corus Studios, the 8 x 60-minute series has the working title of Pamela Anderson’s Home Reno Project and sees the former Baywatch star return to her roots on the coast of Vancouver Island.
Anderson sets out to fulfil a lifelong dream of transforming her grandmother’s abandoned, sprawling, seven-acre legacy property on the shore of Ladysmith, British Colombia, into a place she and her family can call home.
The star will manage every aspect of the transformation, from architectural design and functionality to detailed interior finishes, receiving. Helping hand her new husband and local carpenter, Dan Hayhurst, her mother Carol Anderson, as well as local crew, designers, and craftspeople.
