Rive Gauche hires Blackpills, eOne alums for film & TV operation

LA-based Rive Gauche is expanding its team with two new hires, taking on David Sigurani as EVP of film & TV, and Max Zupanovic as director of development for domestic film & TV.

Sigurani previously served as SVP at Blackpills in Europe and VP of development overseeing Turner’s Super Deluxe Studio. His executive producer credits include Netflix’s Bonding, AMC Networks’ The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula and Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared for Channel 4 in the UK.

Zupanovic, meanwhile, has held various development roles at ICM Partners, Paramount Pictures, and eOne/Hasbro, working on notable IP including GI Joe, Transformers, Power Rangers and Dungeons And Dragons.

Homicide Hunter and Dog Whisperer distributor Rive Gauche merged with publishing company AfterShock Comics last year to form AfterShock Media. The deal was forged with the aim of Rive Gauche using its global distribution operation to sell the publisher’s IP into new formats, including TV, film, gaming and podcast products.
