ViacomCBS launches Pluto TV in Italy
ViacomCBS’s Pluto TV has launched in Italy, claiming to be the first free ad-supported streaming (FAST) service to launch in the country.
Italian viewers will have access to 40 channels including entertainment-focused Pluto TV Crime and Young and Fabulous; series-led channels Pluto TV Series, The McLeod Sisters and Teen Series; comedy channels Scherzi e Risati, Pluto TV Film Comedy and FailArmy; kids and family collections Super! Heroes and Super! SpongeBob; and show and thematic channels including 16 & Pregnant.
The list also includes a selection of pop-up and seasonal channels, temporary channels dedicated to specific shows, moments and special reviews.
Pluto TV Italy will offer movies spanning action, thrillers, romance, comedy, kids, and drama, including classics like Harold and Maude and The Conversation; comedies Anchorman and Wayne’s World 2; action films Sharknado and Born to Raise Hell; horror titles Cujo and Rosemary’s Baby; and family movies Kung Fu Panda and Penguins of Madagascar.
Italian movies such as Amore Mio Aiutami, Il Prof. Dott. Guido Tersilli, Tutti Giu’ per Terra, Finchè Giudice Non Ci Separi, Speriamo Che sia Femmina, La Ragazza con la Pistola and Tutti Defunti…Tranne i Morti will also be available.
Pluto TV will be available in Italy on TV, smartphone, tablets and PCs via the Pluto TV website and via app on Samsung Tizen, LG Smart TV, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Chromecast. iOS and Android apps are available on the Apple Store and Google Play.
