Nat Geo, RMC Découverte & SRF Switzerland ink Autentic factual deals
National Geographic, France’s RMC Découverte and SRF Switzerland are among the broadcasters to pick up new factual content following deals with Germany’s Autentic Distribution.
The 6 x 45-minute Colossal Machines has been pre-bought by National Geographic. The science series, about some of the world’s largest machines, which is produced by Go Button Media and Autentic, will be available on the service worldwide, except for German-speaking territories and the US.
In the German-speaking territories, the show will be available on SPIEGEL Geschichte and ServusTV.
Meanwhile, France’s RMC Découverte has bought both seasons of the factual entertainment series Stone Men (12 x 45-minutes), produced by Italian prodco GiUMa Produzioni for Discovery Italy, as well as season two of What Went Wrong (6 x 52-minutes), a co-production of Millstream Films and Autentic.
SRF Switzerland has picked up the 1 x 52-minute Survival Of The Fittest In The Alps as well as the 4 x 52-minute series History Of Speed and in-house production Life From Space (2 x 52-minutes).
Further afield, SBS Australia has acquired the 1 x 52-minute The Mystery Of Celtic Priests and the 1 x 52-minute China’s New Silk Road – From Yiwu To Madrid.
