Endeavor Content’s The Story Company rebrands & hires ITVS, Euston & Lookout alums
Endeavor Content-backed UK prodco The Story Company has changed its name and hired execs from ITV Studios, Fremantle’s Euston Films and BBC Studios-owned Lookout Point.
The company, now to be known as The Story Collective, was launched last year by BBCS alum Helen Jackson and Lookout Point duo, Simon Vaughan and Damian Keogh.
It aims to work with established and emerging creators/writers to help acquire rights, commission scripts, package projects and manage the sales process on projects. It is also making investments in new and established production firms.
New additions
Joining the company are Kate Lewis, Amy Mobley and Natasha Neill. Lewis becomes executive producer and is taking a slate of projects from her Neon Ink banner, which she launched having worked for a decade at ITVS on shows such as Mr. Selfridge and Vera.
Lewis will manage and expand the company’s slate of scripted projects, as well as provide creative support to the company’s portfolio of invested production companies and writer partnerships.
Mobley joins as head of production from Euston Films, where she was responsible for overseeing all of the company’s productions, including Dublin Murders, Baghdad Central and The Sister.
She previously worked at Tiger Aspect on shows including Peaky Blinders, Ripper Street, My Mad Fat Diary and The Good Karma Hospital.
Neill becomes CFO and joins from Lookout Point, having spent more than 15 years at Entertainment One, where she was head of finance for the film production division for four years.
Keogh said: “We are thrilled to be growing the team and appointing Kate, Amy and Natasha who are incredibly talented executives, highly respected in the TV community, each with huge experience. They are also utterly charming and fun, something that is important to us as we build.”
Endeavor Content was acquired by Korea’s CJ ENM last year.
