C4 doubles down on Waddell’s docuseries ‘Britain’s Most Expensive Houses’
Channel 4 in the UK has doubled its order for Britain’s Most Expensive Houses by greenlighting an eight-part second season from Belfast producers Waddell Media.
The docuseries, which uses exclusive access to luxury estate agency UK Sotheby’s International Realty, explores some of the UK’s most expensive properties and the people behind them.
Each episode of the 8 x 60-minute second season will feature several properties and interviews with the high net worth individuals behind them.
The show, whose four-part frost season debuted in 2020, has been commissioned by C4’s Jasper Hone and is executive produced by Jannine Waddell and Sophie Wurzer-Williams. Series producer is Chris Walley.
The order comes with C4 in the early stages of being privatised, with buyers including Sky and ITV among those understood to be exploring an acquisition.
