Fabrique d’Images launches new JVs with KMBO & Radar
Fabrique d’images, the Luxembourg-based animation studio behind shows such as Percy’s Tiger Tales and Polo, is launching two new JV prodcos.
The firm has partnered with Vladimir Kokh and Gregory Marchal, CEO and head of distribution, respectively, at French distributor KMBO, to launch Fantabulous, a new French production company, specialising in animated family entertainment.
It has also teamed with Fred Neuen and Tim Lecomte of Luxembourg-based live-action prodco Radar to launch Happy House, a separate joint venture that will focus on developing and producing hybrid animation and live-action projects.
Announcing both launches on social media over the weekend, the firm, which was founded in 2002 by Christine Parisse and Jean-Marie Musique, celebrated the birth of its new “sister” companies.
In a post, the firm wrote: “This year, 20 years ago, Fabrique d’Images was constituted. We’re very proud of what was realised, and we want to thank all of you who have worked with us over those 20 years. We couldn’t have done it without you. After two decades of existence, we feel we are ready for the next phase.”
