TV2 Denmark’s head of fiction lands CEO role at Nordisk Film Production
Nordisk Film Production has hired the head of fiction at Denmark’s TV2 as its new CEO.
Katrine Vogelsang will take up the role on 15 August and work with Henrik Zein, who is moving from the CEO role to become COO at the Copenhagen-based firm.
Vogelsang’s remit includes overall responsibility of Nordisk Film Production’s content strategy, talent development and expansion. A replacement at TV2 has not yet been named.
The exec began her career at the National Film School of Denmark and worked at Danish pubcaster DR, before moving to TV2 in 2011.
“Nordisk Film Production has an extremely strong foundation and I’m looking forward to creating even more creative stories and engaging content of the highest quality together with Henrik Zein and all the skilled producers, creative talents and employees at Nordisk Film,” she said.
Nordisk Film CEO Allan Mathson Hansen added: “Nordisk Film wants to take the lead in the Nordic region in the coming years and is therefore strengthening the management of Nordisk Film Production.
“I’m excited that Katrine Vogelsang and Henrik Zein have agreed to enter into a strong partnership that, together with the rest of the management and colleagues, will provide the best possible foundation for reaching our ambitious 2025 strategy.”
