TBI’s 2022 Content Innovation Awards open for entries
TBI’s 2022 Content Innovation Awards are now open for entries, with the annual event back once again to celebrate the very best of global talent and creative content, with an exciting range of new and returning categories.
Now in their eighth year, the Awards mark a key moment in the industry calendar and give you an exclusive opportunity to showcase your latest projects to the world at a dazzling evening gala in London in November.
Last year, Sky took home the coveted Best Debut Drama Series Award for I Hate Suzie, Australia’s ABC Commercial won Series Launch of the Year with Fisk, and BBC Studios Natural History Unit claimed The Innovation & Ingenuity Award for BBC Winterwatch 2021.
Are you a broadcaster, producer or distributor that has changed the content landscape over the course of the year? Have you been involved with a successful campaign or product launch that has elevated industry standards? Then now is your chance to apply!
New categories for 2022 will include The Representation & Inclusion Award, designed to highlight a company or individual who is making an outstanding contribution to improving on-screen and/or off-screen representation of LGBTQIA+, race, ethnicity, and/or disability. The Sustainability & Innovation Award, meanwhile, will salute a company or organisation that has gone above and beyond when it comes to improving the TV industry’s environmental impact on the world, or provided an outstanding next-generation solution to improve the way content is made.
Returning categories will include Best Debut Drama Series, Factual Entertainment Programme of the Year, Factual TV Project of the Year and Distribution Innovation, with more details on how to enter available here.
Furthermore, nominations for categories including the Lifetime Achievement Award and Rising Star of Development, can be entered completely free of charge.
The deadline for submissions is 17 August 2022. All the information you need to enter can be found in our entry guide.
