ITV Studios strikes exclusive production pact in Poland
ITV Studios (ITVS) has struck an extended deal with Jake Vision that will hand the Polish company exclusive production rights to all non-scripted formats newly commissioned in the territory.
The agreement extenders the long-standing relationship between ITVS and Jake Vision, which has previously produced numerous formats for the UK-based firm for broadcasters and streamers in Poland including Love Island, Hell’s Kitchen and Four Weddings.
Arjan Pomper, MD of global entertainment at ITVS, said: “The agreement forges international IP with outstanding local production capabilities, at a time when the demand for non-scripted productions in the territory is growing. We look forward to collaborating to deliver compelling content across all genres and for all platforms and broadcasters.”
The deal was negotiated by Pascal Dalton on behalf of ITVS and Huub van Reede on behalf of Jake Vision.
The Polish firm, which was set up more than a decade ago, also produces local versions of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, The Mole, Bake Off, Ninja Warrior and Top Chef, as well as a Polish adaptation of The Office.
