India’s Locomotive Global hires ‘Rocket Boys’ exec for production
Locomotive Global Media (LGM), the India-based producer behind the reboot of Ray Donovan and drama Seeker, has hired a Roshni Ghosh to work across its productions.
Roshni Ghosh, who has previously worked on shows including Rocket Boys and Mumbai Diaries, joins Locomotive as producer and will work closely with founders Sunder Aaron and Kanupriya Iyer to identify new projects.
She will also help to produce existing projects and manage all stages in the development and production of LGM projects.
Ghosh was most recently at Emmay Entertainment and Motion Pictures, where she headed content and worked on all aspects of greenlighting projects across films and series content. Aside from the frost two seasons of Rocket Boys and Mumbai Diaries, Ghosh also worked on The Empire
Aaron, co-founder & principal of LGM, said: “It’s not enough to identify and develop exceptional ideas for original films and series, and it is equally important that you be able to promote, sell and produce the projects based on these ideas.
“We know Roshni to be a professional who operates effectively and efficiently across the whole value chain of our production business. Her appointment comes at a crucial point as we move towards an important phase of growth in the business.”
LGM has been in expansive mode of late, hiring a former Disney+ Hotstar exec to its senior ranks this summer and appointing a new head of production to help expand operations.
