The Content Group hires Fremantle, ITVS alum amid development push
Asylum Entertainment Group’s The Content Group (TCG) has landed a former Fremantle exec as its SVP of content development.
Matt Wrablik is charged with developing docuseries and formats for broadcast, cable and streaming platforms, and will be based out of both the LA and Nashville offices.
He will work alongside the expanding development team, including fellow SVP of content development Ariel Brozell, and reports into TCG president, Jodi Flynn.
Wrablik has worked on shows including E!’s Very Cavallari, CMT’s Racing Wives and History’s Ozzy And Jack’s World Detour, and was most recently working for various producers via his shingle Red House Media.
He previously worked at Fremantle North America, working on its development slate and produced content for E!, while also having stints at Brat TV, Critical Content, ITV Studios and T Group Productions.
Flynn said Wrablik “vast scope of experience and deft ability to ideate and manage multiple projects” would help the company’s growth plans.
TCG recently premiered new format Celebrity Beef With Joel McHale on E!, while other recent titles include Sins Of The Amish for Peacock and King Of The Con for Discovery+.
TCG’s parent company, Asylum Entertainment Group, recently acquired Austin-based Texas Crew Productions.
