AMC Networks LatAm strikes deal for trio of Electric Entertainment series
AMC Networks International – Latin America has picked up three shows from LA-based Electric Entertainment.
All three shows are produced and distributed by the Dean Devlin-led outfit and include two seasons of Leverage: Redemption, all four seasons of The Librarians and the first season of Electric Entertainment’s upcoming series The Ark.
The rights negotiated for this deal cover all Latin America, including Brazil.
Leverage: Redemption is a reimagining of Electric Entertainment’s crime drama Leverage, which ran for five seasons on US cablenet TNT until 2012. Its second season will launch on 16 November on Amazon Freevee in the US.
The Librarians was a fantasy-adventure series that ran for four seasons on TNT from 2014-2018. It was a spin-off from The Librarian film series that starred Noah Wyle.
The Ark, meanwhile, is a sci-fi series, set to launch on SyFy in the US next year and is set aboard a spaceship carrying humanity’s last hope for survival.
