UK’s C4 orders Future Studios stunt show featuring Tik Tok stars King Billy & The Mountain

Channel 4 in the UK has ordered a show featuring two TikTok stunt stars from Future Studios, the factual production division of Future Publishing.

Hillbilly Nation follows King Billy and The Mountain as they attempt to build community spirit by transforming a clapped out old limousine into a ‘swimousine’ by stripping the seats out to make way for two tonnes of water.

Once watertight, the duo will attempt their biggest stunt yet – jumping it off a homemade ramp before crash landing it on top of a caravan.

The special was commissioned by C4’s digital commissioning executive, Thomas Pullen, and will air on the broadcasters YouTube, Facebook and Instagram channels. Executive producers for Future Studios are John Farrar and Ellie Winstanley.

Other recent Future Studios sales include Unbelievable Me, a co-production with TVF International and Warner Bros. Discovery, which the network has picked up in the UK, Germany, Benelux, Italy, Latin America and Poland.
