ABC Signature ups Sydnee Rimes to become SVP of series

ABC Signature has upped Sydnee Rimes to become SVP of series.

She will now lead ABC Signature’s series division, with a remit across all current shows including drama, comedy and limited run.

Rimes previously had stints at Brillstein Entertainment before joining ABC more than a decade ago.

She was most recently VP of series at ABC Signature and has worked on shows such as Black-ish, This Fool and The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers. She reports into ABC Signature’s president, Jonnie Davis, in her new role.

Davis said: “Sydnee has incredibly strong relationships within the creative community and has been an integral part of our mission to create the best possible experience for our roster of writers.

“She is tenacious, agile and imaginative, and will continue to drive seamless collaboration between our series and development teams in her new role.”
