NEM Zagreb unveils 2022 line-up, with Viaplay, Lionsgate, Sky & Mediawan confirmed participants
Viaplay Group, Antenna Studios, Lionsgate, Sky and Mediawan are among organisations to have confirmed participation at this year’s NEM Zagreb, which takes place next month.
The companies will join a raft of producers, screenwriters, production companies and representatives of FTA television, pay-TV channels, streaming services, and other content creators, at the event, which runs 7-9 December at the Esplanade Zagreb Hotel.
The event is focused on content development across Central and Eastern Europe, with panels, Q&A’s, presentations, successful business practices, speakers and other special events planned.
Sessions will explore co-productions, how to deal with rising costs and the challenges and opportunites of adapting true stories, while Q&A’s will explore the impact of streamers on non-English content and originals from Bosnia and Herzegovina producers.
A special program – Co-production Business Practice – will feature Big Light Productions and Lumière presenting their business practices to audiences.
Other confirmed companies include Windlight Pictures, Beta Film, Firefly Productions, Lumière, Bulgarian National Television, Croatian HRT, Nova TV, RTL Hrvatska, 24sata and Drugi plan, as well as the European Broadcasting Union and Sarajevo Film Festival confirmed participation
