Mentorn Media hires Channel 4 commissioning editor to head factual
Mentorn Media has appointed Emily Jones as head of factual, replacing the outgoing Bernie Kay.
Jones will develop the company’s factual productions, which most recently have included Children Of The Cult for Discovery+ as well as Secrets Of An ISIS Smartphone for the BBC.
Jones was most recently commissioning editor for education & docs at Channel 4, where she had been for five years. Credits include Born Famous, Gogglesprogs and How The Other Kids Live.
Prior to that, Jones had worked on shows including Secret Millionaire and Undercover Boss, as well as Coppers, Jamie’s Ministry of Food and Wife Swap. She has also had stints at UK producers including Blast Films and Dragonfly TV.
