BBC Studios expands FAST team with five new hires, incl A+E’s Sarah Shriver

BBC Studios (BBCS) has expanded its FAST team with five new additions, including former A+E Networks exec Sarah Shriver.

She becomes VP of marketing & programming sales for FAST & VOD at BBCS, following more than a decade with A+E working across its global strategy.

Former Tubi exec Nik Mehta has joined as VP of business development & sales operations, while Andrew Varda joins from Playstation to become director of VOD sales.

Other hires include Kaneisha Woods, who becomes senior manager of FAST scheduling & marketing, and Jessica Williams, who joins as coordinator of programming & marketing.

Beth Anderson, who leads BBCS’s FAST operations as GM, revealed the hires on social media, adding that they are part of the company’s strategy “to ramp up its commitment to serving FAST and VOD platforms and audiences with the best in British programming…”.
