Fifth Season COO Tim Robinson exits ‘Tokyo Vice’ & ‘Severance’ firm
Former Shine Group and Avalon exec Tim Robinson has stepped down as COO at CJ ENM-owned production and distribution firm, Fifth Season.
Robinson had been with the Tokyo Vice and Severance producer since 2018 and was closely involved with the sale of the company – then known as Endeavor Content – to South Korean giant CJ ENM in 2021.
Prior to that, Robinson was COO at Avalon and also had stints at Elisabeth Murdoch’s Vertical Networks.
His exit comes three months after the latest exec rejig for Fifth Season. Those changes saw distribution chief Prentiss Fraser, development & production head Joe Hipps and Todd Sharp all upped at the company, which is also behind Life & Beth and Nine Perfect Strangers.
Fraser became president of TV distribution and oversees strategy, operations and partnerships across scripted and unscripted, with additional responsibility for both marketing and international TV productions.
Hipps leads TV development & production, and Sharp, president of production & current, oversees TV series and features.
Fifth Season rebranded from Endeavor Content in September. US trade Deadline broke the news.
