Disney+ adds Delphine Le Vigan adaptation to French slate
Disney+ has unveiled a new slate of French originals, including an adaptation of the Delphine Le Vigan novel Les Enfants Sont Roism (aka The Children Are Kings).
The new projects were announced by Pauline Dauvin, Disney’s VP of programming, original productions and acquisitions, at Series Mania Festival in Lille.
Les Enfants Sont Roism, which follows the story of two women with very different destinies, is currently in pre-production and expected to film later in the year.
Disney is also bringing two original French films to the streamer later this year, including Une Zone à Défendre, a melodrama starring Lyna Khoudri and François Civil, and Antigang: La Relève, an action thriller with Alban Lenoir, Jean Reno and Sofia Essaïdi.
It was also announced that family series Weekend Family will back for a second season on 5 April, while drama Tout Va Bien will come to Disney+ France later in the year.
