Studio 100 hires former WildBrain copro director & ex-WDR commissioner
German kids firm Studio 100 Media has landed Manuela Lumb and Richard Rowe as executive producers.
The duo will scout and develop new projects and IPs for kids’ series, in addition to identifying partners for co-development and co-production.
Lumb will focus on German-speaking countries, while Rowe will concentrate on English-speaking territories.
Lumb has been behind German show such as KiKAninchen for KiKA and Löwenzähnchen for ZDF, having peviously been a commissioning editor at SWR and WDR.
Rowe worked on shows including Inspector Gadget and Dorg Van Dango, and before that worked for Canada’s WildBrain/DHX Media as director of international co-productions & acquisitions.
Before that, he was director of acquisitions & originals at Turner, overseeing acquisitions and original series for EMEA kids’ channels.
