TV4 & C More among buyers for Channel 4’s Kardashian docuseries
TV4 and C More in Scandanavia are among companies to have picked up Optomen’s two-part series, The Kardashians: A Billion Dollar Dynasty.
The show, which tracks how the family have risen to become famous, will debut in the US on NBCUniversal’s E! on 1 May , with distributor All3Media International also striking deals with TV4, which has claimed SVOD and free TV rights across Scandinavia.
The series will also become available in the region via C More, which has taken SVOD rights in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland, whilst free TV rights have been acquired by TV4 in Sweden and in Finland by MTV.
Additionally, SVOD rights have been signed by TV2 in Denmark, Movistar+ has licensed the series in Spain, RTL will air the series in The Netherlands and DPG has taken the series for Belgium.
Australian viewers will be able to watch the specialty documentary through a deal with Nine Network, whilst in New Zealand the two-part documentary will launch on Discovery.
The show debuted earlier this year on Channel 4 in the UK.
