Blink49 Studios recruits eOne’s Tashi Bieler as head of production
Canada’s Blink49 Studios has appointed Entertainment One (eOne) alum Tashi Bieler as SVP and head of production.
Based in Toronto, she will report directly to company CEO Jeff, Lynas. Working closely with the company’s leadership team and other senior executives, Bieler will oversee all areas of physical production and post-production, spanning from development through delivery across scripted and unscripted productions.
Bieler previously served as eOne’s SVP of production, where she supervised content production for titles such as Netflix’s The Recruit, ABC & Netflix drama series Designated Survivor, HBO’s Run, procedural detective series Private Eyes for Corus and The Spencer Sisters for CTV, which was recently picked up by The CW.
Blink49 Studios is a joint venture with Fifth Season (formerly Endeavor Content) as its primary investor and strategic partner. It was founded in November 2021 by CEO John Morayniss, executive vice chair Patrice Theroux, COO Jeff Lynas and CFO Nelson Kuo-Lee
Its slate includes Hallmark Channel’s rodeo-themed family drama series Ride and adaptations of Charlene Carr’s Hold My Girl and Marissa Stapley’s novel Things To Do When It’s Raining.
Lynas said that Bieler’s “proven leadership skills, deeply rooted industry relationships, and experience in production across various budget levels and genres filming across Canada and throughout the world make her an ideal fit for Blink49.”
