Blue Ant Int’l to co-pro ‘Lakefront Luxury’, strikes pre-sale & licensing deals
Global distribution outfit Blue Ant International has struck co-production, pre-sale and distribution deals with A+E Networks, Smithsonian Channel and True Royalty TV.
The A+E Networks deal sees Blue Ant partnering to co-produce new episodes of real-estate series Lakefront Luxury.
The new season, currently in production with Nikki Ray Media Agency, is set to air in the Home.Made.Nation block. The larger agreement also combines the acquisition of the existing two seasons of the show, which follows buyers attempting to find their ultimate luxury escape.
In a pre-sale that has led to a greenlight for a fourth season, A+E Networks has also secured 10 episodes of Woodcut Media’s The Killer In My Family for Lifetime.
Blue Ant International has also secured a number of deals with Smithsonian Channel including the licensing of The Black West: A Counter History Of The Wild West, from Capa Films and Ireland’s Wild Islands from Crossing the Line, as well as renewingrights to 8 Days That Made Rome from October Films.
Meanwhile, True Royalty TV has picked up a package of 14 titles, including Christmas At Stately Homes of England from ITN Productions; Queen’s Coronation in Colour from Oxford Film and TV; and The Diana Interview: Revenge of A Princess from Minnow Films.
Bryan Gabourie, SVP of sales, international sales & partnerships at Blue Ant International said the company is “constantly evolving, whether it’s pre-sales, co-productions or our existing premium content, which has ultimately led to an expansion of the client base with further US buyers.”
